This week, Matt and Quintin retreat back to the bunker to chat about Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season 3. Matt also talks about watching the first season of the Tracey Wigfield created/Tina Fey produced new show, Great News. It's a short one, and somewhat rambling, but that's what happens when you get all your information from packages of government butter!

This week, Matt lets Quintin rant and rave about Jordan Peele's directorial debut Get Out for about an hour. Eventually, they escape the Sunken Place and talk about Logan, Hugh Jackman's last stand as Wolverine. You know, because those are two films that are totally related in, like, a completely untenuous and not-at-all forced way! In case it wasn't obvious, there are a whole bunch of spoilers for both movies, so check them out before you listen. 

This week, Matt and Quintin finally make good on their promise/threat and talk about Ernest Cline's debut novel, Ready Player One. So boot up your console, get your haptic gear on and get ready to listen to listen to Matt purge six months of cached rage (and possibly hear Quintin audibly shrug). 

This week, Matt has a whole bunch of opinions about the Walt Disney World Resort. He's taking umbrage with a blog that decided to rank every attraction in the parks and takes Quintin along for the ride! This week, Matt and Quintin are doing something nobody on the internet has done at all: they have a conversation about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. That's right, the obscure independent movie by scrappy upstart Marvel Studios starring virtual unknowns like Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel and Kurt Russell! You'll find out who all of these nobodies are (and more) if you listen! Somehow, despite claiming they don't have much to say about the subject, our hosts managed to talk for an entire hour about Star Lording and Grooting in and around the galaxy. 

This week, Matt and Quintin talk about the new-ish Netflix show Thirteen Reasons Why, based of the YA novel by Jay Asher. And hoo boy, oof, this one was a doozy. The show tackles some incredibly serious issues like bullying, abuse, rape and suicide. As you can imagine, it's not your usual light and fun episode of the podcast, but we figured it was worth talking about.

This week, Matt and Quintin tap into their inner creepy, disgusting kid monsters and talk about Topps trading card properties that were turned into movies. All two of them! First up, the 1996 Tim Burton cult classic Mars Attacks! And to be completionists, they also take out the trash and talk about 1988's absolutely insane The Garbage Pail Kids Movie. So crack open this podcast pack, look over your checklist and hope for some rares. All that's missing is a stale piece of gum that tastes like sugary cardboard!

We're back after a three month absence to talk about the hot new, three-month old release Rogue One: A Star Wars Story! Matt has some grievances while Quintin is ready to parry with retorts like a Guardian of the Whills. Papa Erso would be so proud of his little Stardusts!

After a several month absence, Matt and Quintin are back with Stuff...'N Things! They start out the new year and by running down their top 7 things of the previous 12 months, from movies to music, games to TV. 2016 wasn't ALL bad, so let's focus on the positive, before we crawl back into our podcast hole for another few months!

This week, Matt and Quintin log on, jack-in and attempt to hack the Gibson with PlayStation VR! They talk about what they like about virtual reality, potential pitfalls of the future (not Pitfall VR but c'mon Activision get on it) and where they think games are going. They also played some games like Battlzeone, Batman: Arkham VR, Thumper, The London Heist and Job Simulator! Just remember, it will be "virtually" impossible to count the number times Quintin brings up Neuromancer and William Gibson!

This week, Matt and Quintin are ready for Pilot Season! But what's this? Television is a confusing term that doesn't mean what it used to and they're talking about television shows premiering on Amazon dot com? Jean-Claude Van Damme's Jean-Claude Van Johnson, The Tick with Peter Serafinowicz, and I Love Dick, starring Kathryn Hahn and Kevin Bacon are all discussed! They also talk about those traditional shows that appear magically on that picture rectangle in their dens they're excited are returning. 

This is the future? This is a garbage future! Where are my robot cowboys? Oh, they're in Westworld this Fall on the HBO? Oh, OK. I take back everything I said. 

This week, two superfan muggles waltz into a world of magical stage effects, thin character motivation and gaping plot holes! Put on the Sorting Hat and join House Bubblegum Cult as we discuss whether Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a cheap cash-in or JK Rowling Lucas-ing it.

This week, Matt and Quintin blast off into HYPE-ER SPACE and land on the planet Mismanaged Expectations to talk about No Man's Sky, the eagerly awaited new galactic exploration simulation by Hello Games. They talk about what they like, what they don't like, and contemplate the vast emptiness of space and how that makes them feel and oh god I'm going to die someday and never experience everything what have I done with my life!? 

This week, Matt and Quintin commit the crime of pinning their hopes on a DC Comics movie adaptation and watch Guardians of the Galaxy. Wait, I'm sorry. I meant the new Will Smith/Margot Robbie film Focus: Part 2. Nope, that wasn't it. Oh, right, Suicide Squad. That's the one. They can definitely say it is the best of the new DCEU movies, but as anyone who has seen Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice could tell you, that doesn't count for a whole lot. It's also slightly better than receiving a package containing a dead rat from Jared Leto!

This week, remakes happen, someone's gotta deal with it, and who ya gonna' call? Matt and Quintin, who just so happened to watch the new, Paul Feig directed Ghostbusters film? That's probably a mistake. Quintin talks about shooting ping pong balls at the Scoleri Brothers, Matt talks about his crushes on some of the Ghostbusters,  and then they get down to business and talk about the movie. 

This week, Matt and Quintin stay INSIDE. Well, mentally, because when they weren't dodging soulless husks in Playdead's new puzzle platformer, they wandered outside to dodge soulless husks in the real world and catch some pocket monsters in Pokèmon GO! You gotta catch 'em all while avoiding the harrowing reality that is modernity! Existential Crisis, GO!

This week, it's all about navigating the social scene of your teenage years...without getting murdered by monsters! Matt and Quintin sit down and massively spoil Pride & Prejudice & Zombies and Unfriended, two horror movies about being a teen and dealing with life, love and the dead. Come for two old men complaining about teens, stay for two old men being completely out of touch with not just this century, but the previous two as well! Also, for scares. You can stay for those too.

It's the most wonderful time of the year for video game news: the Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3 for those who like cool abbreviations. Matt and Quintin give their impressions and "expert opinions" on the big news and press conferences from Sony, Microsoft and the other game publishers. In the true spirit of the game industry, come listen, then tell them how they're garbage people who don't deserve to live because they're really bad at Call of Duty!

This week, Matt and Quintin talk about the Sophomore Slump, that second movie, season, album or game that just can't live up the the precedent of the original (think Jan de Bont's second film Twister, or the second seasons Serial and True Detective. Matt also introduces the idea of the Junior Juggle, third attempts that also fall woefully short.

Before you ask, no, the second season of Bubble Gum Cult wasn't listed, you jerks. I'm sorry, I didn't mean that, it's just tough to make stuff, you know? We tried to do something different and we failed. Look, we'll just make the first thing again and put it on a boat next time!

This week, Matt and Quintin eulogize the recently canceled video game, Disney Infinity. Come for two grown men talking about toys, video games and Disney princesses being overpowered compared to Marvel superheroes. Stay to hear Matt's Disney impressions. 

This week, Matt and Quintin have seen Disney's Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, and they're here to spoil the hell out of it (seriously everyone, Spoiler Warning). Marvel as they talk about Captain America! Laugh along as they recount Spectacular Spider-Man jokes! Behold the majesty of the Black Panther along with your friends! With almost everyone getting a cameo, it's a shock the Cult's resident superheroes, Captain Complainer and Half-Black Widow(Man) didn't show up! Maybe they'll get their chance to shine in Infinity War: Part 1. Until then, enjoy the show, True Believers!

Back from their long break, Matt and Quintin went to PAX East this week. They someone miraculously didn't get PAX POX and have survived. Also, they plan to tell you all about it! Or, at least tell you what they saw. Games like Super Daryl Deluxe, We Happy Few, Riot: Civil Unrest, Death Stair and Headlander, to name just a few! They'll also tell you about room temperature hot dogs, long lines and watching people play video games poorly. But not them, though. No way. They're totally pro. Just, don't, like, look over their shoulders while they play, OK? It's really distracting. They didn't mean to do that!

Matt returns this week to get locked in a bunker with Quintin for an entire hour and talk about 10 Cloverfield Lane! Warning: the movie gets spoiled pretty early in the episode, so that's no reason to put them back in the bunker. Please...we don't want to go back in the bunker. Not because we didn't like the JJ Abrams produced/Dan Trachtenberg directed/John Goodman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and John Gallagher Jr. starring movie, but because we're tired of eating Goldfish. There's a lot of sodium involved with the end of the world.

In the Bubble Gum Cult's first solo podcast, Quintin asks the question on everyone's mind this week: Whatever Happened to Mr. Zeddemore. That's Winston Zeddemore, Ghostbuster extraordinaire. In the wake of the release of the new Ghostbusters trailer, he reflects on the internet's skepticism and outrage about female 'busters and how Ghostbusters shaped his view of the world.

This week it's all about the Merc with a Mouth and the Firewatch...guy...with...a mouth, too? Matt and Quintin talk about the new Fox Marvel movie Deadpool, starring Ryan Reynolds. They've also played Firewatch, the new video game by Campo Santo, about a guy who likes to watch...FOR FIRES! Also it's about relationships and stuff. 

Matt also sadly announces he's taking a short departure from the show. But fear not! The show will return very soon with Quintin and some very special guests.

What do Puppy Monkey Baby, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and a girl robot named Apple have in common? Absolutely nothing! Well, except for this podcast. This week, Matt and Quintin are back with a new genre-busting double feature! First up, they chat about their favorite and least favorite Super Bowl ads. Then, they travel back in time to post apocalyptic 1997 to talk about the cult movie Turbo Kid (the discussion is filled to the brim with spoilers, so check out the movie before listening). Seeing that two idiots can somehow form full sentences and publish a podcast fills you with determination!

Everyone's a villain this week. Matt and Quintin have seen the 8th film by Quentin Tarantino, the Hateful Eight. They didn't really like it! So they talk about what bugged them about the movie and end up chatting a whole lot about what they loved about Tarantino's other films. An episode so filled with hate you'd think it was another show about the Walking Dead!

This week, Matt and Quintin talk about the Netflix Original Series (based on some Marvel comics so maybe not THAT original) Jessica Jones, starring Krysten Ritter and David Tennant. They also spoil the hell out of it, so you should probably check it out before listening. If we had Kilgrave's powers, we'd command you to listen! But, if you're reading this description, you are probably already listening, once again proving we'd make the worst super villains. 

The Bubble Gum Cult is back to ring in another New Year, and what a better way to do it than to tell you all about the Stuff 'N Thaaaaaangs that Matt and Quintin loved this year. They each talk about their 7ish favorite things from 2015, all of which may be entirely obvious if you've been listening to the show. HUGE SPOILERS inside as they talk about lightsabers, tiny alien creatures and the childlike wonder of seeing a Star Wars movie they liked! It's a Space Christmas Miracle.

After last week's naughtiness and punishment, Matt and Quintin return with lists they're checking twice, talking about their 5 favorite Christmas movies, with a couple of extra shout outs and mentions for good cheer. Some traditional, some disputed, but all about the reason for the season. The reason for the season is watching ABC Family for 20 straight night, right?

Matt and Quintin have been very, very naughty boys this holiday season. So bad, in fact, Santa has sent THREE different Krampuses (Krampi?) to the Cult this week! The guys watched the films Krampus: The Reckoning, A Christmas Horror Story and Krampus and tell you which filmmakers will be receiving whippings...and probably lickings. Because that's how Krampus rolls. 

This week, Matt and Quintin talk about five things that snuck up on them. Shocking tales of movies, games and TV that simply appeared from nowhere, seeming to manifest from the ether and straight into their eyeball holes. This week, Matt and Quintin watched The Hunger Games : Mockingjay, Part 2. They talk about missed opportunities, weird pacing, poor motivations and Donald Sutherland's charming evil laugh. Felicia's pioneering Internet series The Guild leads them to talking about Broad City, Garfunkel and Oates and Melissa Hunter. You'll be glad you made the trip from North Brother Island for this one!

Another week, another discussion from the psychologically damaged duo of Matt and Quintin. But what's this? This is Halloween, so episode delves deep into what could have caused this deep psychic scarring and unsurprisingly, it's pop culture related. They talk about the movies that scared them as kids and turned them into the bathroom avoiding, clown fearing, "functional" adults they are today! 

Everyone has a zombie survival plan...except for the Bubble Gum Cult. This week, Matt and Quintin embrace their inevitable doom and talk about apocalypses they wouldn't survive. Whether it be zombies, multiple kinds of space rocks or primitive primate brain surgery, they know they're not making it out of this one alive. 

This week, Matt and Quintin forgo their usual hate-filled complaint fest to talk about things they, uh, hate. Wait, come back, it's different this time! Now they love those things they hated! They each talk about a grab bag of fiveish things they changed their mind about. 

This week, Matt and Quintin talk about the Emmys...the awards. Not Emmy Rossum. Thought she was probably there! After that, Matt finally watched Mad Max: Fury Road, Quintin's favorite movie of the year. I wonder how that turned out!

The glorious return! Matt and Quintin are finally back after an 18 month absense. This week, they talk about Sam Esmail's USA series Mr. Robot, the tale of a socially inept hacker (Rami Malek) who never got around to seeing Stargate or Timecop but totally saw Fight Club! We talk about the whole series, so fair warning to those who haven't watched it yet.
